Bryan County High School salutes Career, Technical, and Agricultural (CTAE) Teacher, Ms. Kelly Hiatt. While earning her Bachelor’s of Science in Education, Language Arts and Art at Augusta State University, Ms. Hiatt was honored to be Vice President of the Student Ambassador Board, Advisor to the Dean of Education, Outstanding Senator, and President and Founding Member of the Middle Grades Teaching Association at ASU. Due to her extensive work outside the classroom, Ms. Hiatt earned the high honor of Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. Her classwork not to be neglected, Ms. Hiatt completed her undergraduate work with a 3.94 GPA. She then returned to Statesboro and earned her Technology Education certificate at Georgia Southern. Later, she earned her teaching certificate in Cyber Security at College of Charleston. In addition, Ms. Hiatt is a certified New Teacher Mentor for the state of South Carolina.
